Italy is one of the most visited countries in the world and visitors are generous of quotes and thoughts about it.

Some are lyrical, poetic and evocative, some are funny, some are so to the point it almost hurts.

In this article, I collected some I particularly enjoyed reading. I am sure you ill find more than one you will love too and will make you want to travel to Italy straight away.
